長谷寺有時令花卉、佛像等許多值得欣賞之處，其中由見晴台望出去可以將鎌倉街景與海景盡收眼底，是不容錯過的美景。本尊十一面觀音菩薩被認為是與奈良長谷寺的佛像使用同一棵樟樹雕刻而成，高達9公尺以上，為日本最大等級。附設的觀音博物館展示了往昔供奉於大觀音像前的十一面觀音菩薩立像等珍貴文化財。在繡球花季與楓葉季節時遊客絡繹不絕。
