To access from outside the city or prefecture, take JR to Kamakura Station or Kita-Kamakura Station.

To visit Kamakura from outside the prefecture or city, use the JR Shonan Shinjuku Line or Yokosuka Line. It takes about an hour from Tokyo. Get off at Kita-Kamakura Station, where Engakuji Temple and Kenchoji Temple are located, or at the main Kamakura Station, and enjoy sightseeing in Kamakura.
