This is an exhibition facility that introduces the history of Kamakura and excavated artifacts. You can experience the history of Kamakura in a real way through exhibits that incorporate the latest digital technology such as projection mapping and VR.
Opened in 2017, it was renovated from a private home designed by the office of world-renowned architect Norman Foster. Other highlights include the special building materials used throughout the building, the garden that evokes a medieval landscape, and the view of the sea from the hilltop.
